This site is made for an artist supporting other artists. This one needed to be done fast while keeping simplicity in mind. The client and I decided to stick with a traditional format with minor visual accents. A shop for merchandise and gallery for works were key points requested.
Go To SiteThe primary goal of home page was to direct funding towards the Kickstarter campaign. That means easy access to the campaign straight away with a Kickstarter banner on the hero section.
Most provided image files were of moderate quality with multiple layers of intrigue. Logos and graphics had to be separated from their backgrounds, visually enhanced, and sometimes redesigned for use.
Grabbing and maintaining interest on the hero section ensures visitors will spend more time seeing the Kickstarter banner. Visuals like simple moving graphics keep engagement.
Showcasing works and building a workable merchandise section were primary goals of the owner.
A quick scroll down gives curious supporters examples from the artists. Having a merch section showcased on the home page pulls in more support for the project.
Quirky puns and references like "Poke The Bear" while showcasing a selfie of the owner creates personal connections with the customer. Seeing the owner on the contact section emphasizes that these works are from real people and all support goes directly to them.
Here showcases full merchandise implementation with easy use access for the owner. A shop page with subsections and cart page for easy checkout makes it easy for customers to make a purchase.
We are still working with Bear Treasure Studios for site/graphic design and hope to further support them in the future.
