This was a redesign for an existing website for a psychiatry clinic. The client wanted a more inviting, up to date format for their site. Their site was calming, but didn't portray the expertise and practices of their facility.
Go To SiteFamiliarity with approachability. Ensuring the site is recognizable was one of the primary goals while we detailed a new design. Most of their clientele are already under stress and looking for help. Our focus was to implement a format most people are familiar with while giving an uplifting feeling on arrival. Making sure visitors feel invited and cared for the instant they see the website.
Embracing a brighter color palette and implementing inviting graphics greatly improves retention and clickthrough rate. The majority of their appointments are through tele-health. Including familiar banners from popular sites like Psychology Today provides a sense of security for those unsure of services.
A clear emphasized mission statement lets visitors know what the clinic is about and what type of care is provided. Sticky buttons like "Telehealth" and "Contact Us" give consistent easy to find options for people to set up an appointment. Simple graphics give a sense of environment and meaning towards text on the page.
Finding care for mental health is often a big step for someone. A personal connection is often all that is needed to make a positive move forward.
Scrolling down from the hero section gives direct contact with the healthcare providers. A strong quote coupled with faces to the claim instills a more personalized approach to mental health care. It strongly displays the idea of: "This is what we are about and this is who we are."
The about section is a multifaceted design providing answers for those looking for quick help and those looking for specifics. Key icons give readers fast examples of the provider's specialties. While detailed bios give clarification and dynamic examples.
